Election.

I filled out my mail-in ballot tonight. Tomorrow morning before work, we have to drop them off. I'm terrified to see what happens tomorrow.

Oh, and I miss Chris. This sucks. The stupid Vodaphone rental thing we got is a joke. He said that there's not really any land lines that're easy to find, either, so I guess this really was our best option. Talk about frustrating. Today, he noted that he had 14 days left with his awful, too-hard pillow, and hole for a toilet. Not that he's counting, he said. He said that there's HUGE bats that fly around, as well as "banana spiders" that fling themselves out of the trees. He made me Google the banana spiders. I don't recommend it, regardless of whether or not your loved one is presently in Japan. They're GINORMOUS and creepy. I can't wait till he's home.

He found out that he got transferred to another unit - Guantanamo Bay. Harold and Kumar, anyone? At least it'll be a shorter plane ride...and possibly more interesting...?
